I played around with those a bit, but I had no luck there either. Pidgin Messenger Perhaps you are still using an outdated version of pidgin or for some reason you changed the port. Looking at the Pidgin web site, there is a newer version 2.10.7 specifically to fix signin errors with MSN.
Others can vet that all I changed is the ApplicationID in the couple of places. The issue is exactly what's described on this page. I have checked the network settings for my work firewall, and there does not seem to be a proxy in place. Aim Messenger Workarounds so far are to use another account or use the revived Messenger client.
Now that I can connect back, I can send messages but I never receive any answer. The bigger issue here is that you don't know your password. I have had this problem when using Pidgin in corporate environments that monitor/manipulate chat protocols at the network perimiter. comment:15 Changed 6 years ago by saadat it states the server closed the connection?
