There was nothing wrong with it when it left, but now the left > mouse button doesn't work. So I tried another non-Apple mouse, still inoperative. so if you want to clean the trackball my advice is to take apart th whole thing. try moving the transceiver (the reciever) to a different location. It seems to 'fix' the issue for me.
